A new year is approaching, bringing with it countless opportunities, challenges, and goals to achieve.

This year should be filled with improvement, growth, and development. Now is the perfect time to plan and set the milestones we aim to conquer in 2025.

As orthopedic surgeons and enthusiasts of foot and ankle care, we carry the responsibility of continuously expanding our knowledge and refining our skills to provide the highest level of care to our patients.

A Fellowship presents an outstanding opportunity for hands-on, high-quality education.

The EFAS Fellowship Program lies at the heart of the society's mission, sparing no effort to make this program a benchmark of Excellence in Training.

Applications for two of EFAS's 2025 fellowships are about to open: the 2025 EFAS-AOFAS Exchange Program and the 2025 EFAS Travelling Fellowship.

2025 EFAS-AOFAS Exchange Program

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the best world-class foot and ankle care in the United States. The program begins with participation in the AOFAS Summer Meeting, followed by visits to the following esteemed institutions:

• University of South Carolina: Hosted by Christopher E. Gross, MD, and Daniel Scott, MD.
• University of Virginia: Hosted by M. Truitt Cooper, MD, and Joseph Park, MD.
• Duke University, North Carolina: Hosted by Mark Easley, MD, and his team.

This one month-long program promises to be an extraordinary, transformative and groundbreaking experience.

2025 EFAS Travelling Fellowship

This fellowship has a rich history of success, with high satisfaction among both fellows and hosts on previous editions. We are finalizing the program for 2025, where participants will embark on two routes, each featuring five stops, showcasing the best of European foot and ankle care.

The program will include:

• The two top-rated sites from the 2024 fellowship (one from each route).
• Visits to former EFAS fellows who are now integral contributors to the society.
• Other top-level centers across Europe.
• Fellows will have the opportunity to observe a group of excellent surgeons in their native environment.

The fellowship will culminate at the EFAS Congress in Vilnius next year.
