The Certification Committee is looking for new members to help develop and improve the EFAS Certification Exam. If you want to contribute to the future of surgical education, this is your chance.

Mission of the committee:
The Certification Committee is responsible for organizing and improving the EFAS Certification Exam. The committee ensures that the exam reflects the highest standards of surgical knowledge and skills. Members work on evaluating candidates, reviewing the exam process, and keeping EFAS Certification recognized worldwide.

As a committee member, you will help assess candidates, refine certification standards, and support the professional growth of foot and ankle surgeons. The committee meets twice a year online and once in person to plan and review its work.

Who can apply?
We are looking for EFAS members who are committed to education and professional standards.

Requirements:

• You must be a full-paying EFAS member
• You need two full EFAS members to support your application

What makes a strong application?

• Having EFAS Certification is an advantage
• Experience in foot and ankle surgery
• Active participation in EFAS courses and events
• Interest in teaching at a national or international level
• Involvement in research and publications related to foot and ankle surgery
