Ankle Arthroplasty: State of The Art Arthrodesis as rescue - Second Edition of Theoretical & Cadaveric Course

This 2-day cadaver course held at the University of Barcelona will focus on the principles of ankle arthroplasty and case selection on the first day of the course with experienced ankle arthroplasty surgeons teaching the delegates on different designs of contemporary ankle replacements. The second day of the course is concentrated on hindfoot fusion surgery, both tibiotalar and tibiotalocalcaneal fusions as a salvage for failed arthroplasty and also for hindfoot reconstruction. Cadaver lab sessions will enable delegates practising on ankle fusion plates and hindfoot fusion nailing techniques.
